I took this picture one day for a Free Shoot assignment given to our class. I had nothing really available to shoot that I hadn’t already, but eventually I found some thread and needles. Recently I had discovered that my room was dark enough that, if I got my camera close to an object and with the flash, it would mostly blackout the background. In Photoshop, after completely blacking out the background, I boosted the saturation of the thread to get it back to the color it actually is in real life.
