I had taken the photo of ice for just a regular photo assignment. When I got to class Mr. Johnson had us make "light leak frames." These frames are made with a magic marker around a 3x5 card, scanned and then edited them with added contrast and the liquefy tool for different edges. I put this photo in a light leak frame and burned the edges to blend it in. I blurred the inside edges to make it softer and dodged around the tip of the icicle.
